W8 William Estep

Huntingdon (County) Journal (PA), dated 12 Oct 1844:
"Died, on the 4th inst., after an illness of only a few days, William ESTEP, in the 79th year of his age. The deceased was born in Frederick County, Maryland, and emigrated to this State in 1794, and continued to reside in this county until the time of his death. He raised a large family. His father and two brothers served in the Revolutionary War."
The above notice appeared in a column titled "Window Into the Past" compiled by Steve Kemp, who resides in Huntingdon. His column offers excerpts from old newspapers every other week in the Valley Log.
See page 438, W8 William ESTEP, son of William and prob Sarah. This means W8 William ESTEP was born c1765 and died 4 Oct 1844. See page 484 -- this means the West twp. assessment records apply to W8 William. At least that's my assumption.
