His wife, Sarah Elizabeth FISHER, was born in Putnam Co., IN. She died 2 Sep 1950 in Greencastle and was buried 4 Sep 1950 at Forest Hill cemetery. Sarah's mother died when Sarah was four years old. Her apron caught on fire at the fireplace. Sarah washed dishes standing on a crate at Thomas Vermillion's Halfway House in Mt. Meridian, IN.
